This Privacy Notice explains how The Tactical Nation, Inc processes personal information for Shot Bonus. Shot Bonus is framed primarily for US consumer marketing and rewards, with a possible South African and international audience. We therefore reference US privacy principles and POPIA where SA data subjects are involved.

2. Scope
Members, visitors, applicants for Rewards, and people who submit competition posts or claim posts. Sister brands operated by The Tactical Nation, Inc have separate notices.

Sensitive data: please do not upload special-category information unnecessarily (e.g. health details, precise biometric templates). If a claim photo incidentally includes such data, we process it only as needed to operate the claim and secure the Platform.
4. Why we process; legal bases / principles
Purposes: run Membership and Rewards; verify competition posts and claim posts; bill via Stripe; prevent fraud; provide support; improve the Platform; market Shot Bonus (with choices where required); comply with law; ship Rewards.
US: process consistent with notice, purpose limitation, and applicable state laws (access/delete/opt-out where required) — [state-specific addenda UNKNOWN].
SA (POPIA): process on lawful bases such as contract, legitimate interest, consent, or legal obligation, with minimality and purpose specification.
Consent: used for certain cookies and optional marketing; withdrawable as described below.
5. Cookies; analytics; advertising
We may use essential, analytics, and marketing cookies.
Tools: Cloudflare provides hosting, security, staff access, and Web Analytics. Shot Bonus uses the sb_member cookie for member sign-in, with a 30-day expiry, and Cloudflare Access uses CF_Authorization for staff sessions. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures website usage and performance.
You can control cookies via browser settings and any preference centre we provide. Essential cookies may be required for login and security.
6. Sharing
- Stripe and payment/fraud vendors
- Hosting, email, customer-support, and analytics providers
- Brand partners when needed to fulfil a partner Reward or verify a partner campaign (minimum necessary)

We do not sell personal information for money. “Share for cross-context behavioural advertising” under some US state laws: [UNKNOWN — confirm if ads pixels run; if yes, provide opt-out].
7. International transfers
Data may be processed in the United States, South Africa, and other provider locations. Safeguards used where required (contracts, POPIA operator conditions, etc.). Exact regions: [UNKNOWN].
8. Retention
Account and billing records retained for the relationship plus legal periods. Claim media retained as needed for verification, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and (where licensed) marketing until you successfully request marketing takedown or account deletion, subject to legal holds. Backups expire on a rolling schedule.
9. Security
Reasonable security measures appropriate to a consumer membership platform. Report suspected incidents to alerts@thetacticalnation.com.
10. Your rights
US residents: rights may include know/access, delete, correct, and opt out of certain processing where state law applies; appeal processes where required.
SA residents (POPIA): access, correction, deletion, objection, complaint to the Information Regulator.
Marketing: opt out via unsubscribe links or email.
All: email alerts@thetacticalnation.com; we may verify identity before acting.
11. Children
Not directed to under-18s. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information. Contact us to delete if discovered.
12. Automated decisions
Fraud and abuse scoring may be partially automated. Rewards eligibility may use automated checks plus human review for edge cases. You may contact us to seek review of an adverse eligibility decision.
