Shot Bonus — Terms and Conditions (Membership & Rewards)

These Terms and Conditions govern membership, rewards, billing, content submissions (including competition posts and claim posts), and related commercial features of Shot Bonus, operated by The Tactical Nation, Inc (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Site browsing is also subject to the Shot Bonus Terms of Use and Privacy Notice. For membership, rewards, and billing, these Terms and Conditions control.
1. Definitions

2. Acceptance
These Terms apply when you accept this version for the relevant commercial features. Campaign participation also requires acceptance of the campaign-specific terms and Reward schedule presented to you. Publishing this version does not rewrite earlier acceptance records or accepted campaign terms. If you do not agree, do not start new commercial participation under this version; account history, cancellation and privacy rights remain available.
3. Eligibility
3.1 You must be at least eighteen (18) years old (or older if required where you live) and have legal capacity.
3.2 New paid enrollment and new reward activity are available to residents of the United States and Canada, including all states, provinces and territories, subject to the other eligibility and campaign requirements. You must accurately declare your current country of residence and update it when it changes. Billing addresses and technical location signals do not replace that declaration. Europe is not included in this launch. These restrictions do not remove access to account history, cancellation or privacy rights, or erase existing earned obligations.
3.3 You must provide accurate identity and contact information. One natural person per Member account unless we approve otherwise. We may require identity verification before paying or shipping Rewards.
3.4 Employees, contractors, and agents of the Company may be excluded from certain promotions as stated in promotion rules.
4. Accounts
4.1 Keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Report unauthorised use to alerts@thetacticalnation.com.
4.2 We may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, abuse, chargebacks in bad faith, or prohibited conduct.
5. Membership plans
5.1 Plan features, pricing, and billing intervals are shown at checkout or on the plan page and may change on renewal with notice.
5.2 Membership is personal and non-transferable except as we allow in writing.
5.3 We may offer trials or promos. Unless stated otherwise, unused trial benefits expire when the trial ends.
6. Billing; Stripe; cancellation; refunds
6.1 The approved launch Membership price is US$7.99 per month, billed in USD for members in both the United States and Canada. Paid Memberships are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled. Any applicable tax treatment and total charge will be disclosed at checkout. This price statement does not open paid enrollment.
6.2 Payments are processed by Stripe (or a successor processor). Stripe’s terms and privacy notice also apply to payment data. Merchant-of-record / Stripe account legal name: The Tactical Nation, Inc. We do not store full card numbers when Stripe tokenises them.
6.3 You authorise us and Stripe to charge your payment method for Membership fees, taxes, and any purchasable add-ons you select.
6.4 Cancel: Cancel anytime via account settings or by emailing alerts@thetacticalnation.com before the next renewal. Cancellation stops future renewals; you generally retain access until the end of the paid period.
6.5 Refunds: Except where required by law (including applicable US state, Canadian or South African consumer protections), Membership fees are non-refundable once a billing period starts. If we cancel for convenience (not for your breach), we will refund a pro-rata portion of unused prepaid fees.
6.6 Failed payments may result in retry attempts, suspension, or termination. You remain responsible for amounts due.
6.7 Chargebacks: contact us first to resolve billing issues. Repeated abusive chargebacks may lead to permanent exclusion.
7. Rewards program; eligibility
7.1 Rewards. A Reward may be cash, a non-cash prize or a voucher, as described in the applicable campaign terms. Shot Bonus, operated by The Tactical Nation, Inc., facilitates the fulfillment of all Rewards. Before you accept a campaign, its terms will identify the Reward and the responsible provider and, as applicable, the payer or voucher issuer, together with the eligibility, evidence and fulfillment conditions. Our coordination of fulfillment does not by itself mean that we are the legal payer or issuer of every Reward.
7.2 No purchase necessary for some promotions where legally required; Membership may still be required for other features — check each promotion.
7.3 Fulfillment and vouchers. The accepted campaign terms describe how the particular Reward is to be fulfilled. For a voucher, those terms identify the issuer and explain the applicable redemption conditions and any expiry, transfer, cash-redemption or replacement provisions, subject to applicable law. The offer of a voucher or non-cash prize does not by itself promise a cash payment or a right to redeem it for cash. Claim submission or staff approval does not itself confirm that cash was paid, a prize was delivered, or a voucher was issued or redeemed. 7.4 Any substitution, transfer or replacement rights depend on the accepted campaign terms and applicable law. We do not assume a voucher or prize has a cash-equivalent value. Campaign-specific delivery responsibility does not remove any obligation imposed by law.
7.5 Taxes and reporting. You are responsible for taxes imposed on you in connection with Rewards, which may include cash, non-cash prizes and vouchers. The Tactical Nation, Inc. will carry out reporting, recipient-statement and withholding duties that applicable law places on it in its actual role in arranging or fulfilling a Reward. Other providers, payers or issuers identified in the accepted campaign terms remain responsible for duties that applicable law places on them. Those terms do not override a duty imposed by law. Where required, we or the responsible party may request information reasonably needed to identify the recipient, determine the relevant tax treatment and meet those duties. Reporting and withholding depend on the Reward's nature and value as determined under applicable rules, the recipient's tax status, the responsible party's role and the rules for the relevant year and jurisdiction. Receiving no tax statement does not by itself mean a Reward is tax-free. Contact alerts@thetacticalnation.com for help identifying the responsible party or resolving a reporting question.
7.6 Rewards may be void where prohibited. Each campaign must disclose the Reward type and amount, item or entitlement, the responsible provider and applicable payer or issuer, eligibility and evidence requirements, fulfillment conditions, and relevant voucher redemption or delivery restrictions before acceptance. Shot Bonus facilitates all fulfillment. Do not assume staff approval confirms payment, delivery, issuance or redemption.
8. Competition posts; claim posts; content submissions
8.1 You may submit photos, video, captions, and related media as competition posts or claim posts as invited by the Platform.
8.2 You represent that you own or have rights to submit the content; that it is accurate for the claim you make; that it does not infringe others’ rights; and that depicted persons (if any) have consented where required.
8.3 Licence: You grant the Company a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, use, reproduce, modify (for formatting), publicly display, and distribute your submissions to operate Shot Bonus, verify claims, market the program, and feature Members (including in social and partner channels), unless a promotion states a narrower licence. You may request takedown of marketing use by emailing alerts@thetacticalnation.com (verification copies may still be retained).
8.4 We may reject or remove submissions that violate rules, appear fraudulent, unsafe, unlawful, or off-brand.
8.5 Do not submit content that reveals others’ sensitive personal information without authority.
9. Brand partners; sponsored-athlete style participation
9.1 Wearing or featuring Brand partners as part of eligible activity does not make you an employee or agent of the Brand partner or of the Company.
9.2 You must comply with Brand partner trademark guidelines we communicate and must not disparage partners in claim materials in a way that violates promotion rules.
9.3 Partner offers may end or change for future participation. Responsibility for an accepted Reward follows its accepted campaign terms and applicable law; changes do not by themselves erase existing earned obligations.
10. Prohibited conduct
You may not:
(a) create fake accounts or submit false competition posts or claim posts;
(b) manipulate verification, bots, or multiple accounts to farm Rewards;
(c) harass Members, staff, or partners;
(d) post unlawful, hateful, pornographic, or infringing content;
(e) reverse engineer or attack the Platform;
(f) resell Membership or Rewards;
(g) use Shot Bonus for spam or misleading endorsements that violate advertising disclosure laws (you must disclose material connections where required);
(h) circumvent geo or eligibility limits.
11. Intellectual property
Shot Bonus branding, software, and Platform content are owned by the Company or licensors. Membership grants no ownership of Platform IP. Partner marks belong to partners.
12. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM, MEMBERSHIP, AND REWARDS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE OR THAT ANY PARTICULAR REWARD WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE. Competition outcomes and athletic performance are your own. Mandatory consumer warranties that cannot be excluded remain.
13. Limitation of liability
13.1 We do not exclude liability that law forbids excluding (including applicable consumer rights in the United States, Canada or South Africa).
13.2 SUBJECT TO 13.1, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM THIS AGREEMENT IN ANY TWELVE (12) MONTHS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR MEMBERSHIP IN THAT PERIOD OR (B) USD 100.
13.3 SUBJECT TO 13.1, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS OR DATA.
14. Indemnification
You will indemnify the Company and its personnel against third-party claims arising from your content submissions, your breach of this Agreement, your misuse of Rewards, or your violation of law or others’ rights, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.
15. Privacy
Personal information is processed under the Privacy Notice. Rights depend on applicable law, including US, Canadian and, where applicable, South African protections.
16. Termination
16.1 You may stop using Shot Bonus and cancel Membership as in Section 6.
16.2 We may suspend or terminate for breach, fraud, legal risk, or program discontinuation. If we discontinue the program entirely for convenience, we will provide reasonable notice and address unused prepaid Membership as in Section 6.5.
16.3 On termination for your breach, unused Rewards may be forfeited where lawful. Survival: IP licences as needed for prior marketing, accrued fees, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, dispute terms.
17. Dispute resolution; governing law
17.1 Governing law. These Terms are governed by Delaware law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. This choice does not remove mandatory consumer protections available under the law that applies to you.
17.2 Resolving concerns. Please contact alerts@thetacticalnation.com with a description of the dispute and the resolution you seek. We invite a good-faith attempt to resolve it within 30 days. This invitation does not prevent either party from filing a claim to meet a legal deadline or seeking urgent relief.
17.3 Courts. If the dispute is not resolved, either party may bring it in a court that has jurisdiction. These Terms do not require arbitration, waive a right to jury trial, impose a class-action waiver, or require a consumer to use an exclusive Delaware venue.
17.4 Preserved rights. Eligible small-claims proceedings, complaints to regulators, and rights or remedies that applicable law does not permit the parties to waive remain available.
18. Changes
We may publish a new dated version and provide notice of material changes. Where acceptance is required, we will present the new terms for acceptance before the relevant new participation or renewal. Publication alone does not substitute a new version for terms already accepted for a campaign, rewrite an acceptance record, or erase existing earned obligations. Campaign-specific terms govern the disclosed campaign conditions, subject to applicable law.

20. Severability; entire agreement; assignment; misc.
If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains. This Agreement is the entire commercial agreement for Membership/Rewards and supersedes prior discussions. You may not assign without consent; we may assign to an affiliate or successor. Electronic communications satisfy writing requirements. Force majeure applies. Sister brands operated by The Tactical Nation, Inc are separate.
