This Privacy Notice explains how The Tactical Nation, Inc processes personal information for Shot Bonus. Paid membership and new reward activity launch in the United States and Canada. Public pages may be visited elsewhere. Privacy rights depend on the law applicable to the person and processing, not only enrollment eligibility.

2. Scope
Members, visitors, applicants for Rewards, and people who submit competition posts or claim posts. Sister brands operated by The Tactical Nation, Inc have separate notices.
3. What we collect

Sensitive data: please do not upload special-category information unnecessarily (e.g. health details, precise biometric templates). If a claim photo incidentally includes such data, we process it only as needed to operate the claim and secure the Platform.
4. Why we process; legal bases / principles
Purposes: run Membership and Rewards; verify competition posts and claim posts; bill via Stripe; prevent fraud; provide support; improve the Platform; market Shot Bonus (with choices where required); comply with law; ship Rewards.
United States. We process personal information to provide and secure Shot Bonus, administer memberships and campaigns, review claims, communicate with you, and meet applicable legal obligations. Depending on the law that applies to you and our processing, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, and opt out of sale, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, or certain consequential profiling. Where applicable law provides an appeal or authorized-agent process, you may use it. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. How to make a request is explained in section 10. Canada. We collect and use your account, self-declared country of residence, membership and claim information to provide Shot Bonus, determine launch eligibility and administer rewards. Your residence declaration is separate from your billing address and advertising choice. Where applicable Canadian privacy law provides these rights, you may request access to or correction of your personal information, withdraw consent subject to lawful restrictions, and raise a privacy concern through alerts@thetacticalnation.com. We explain any service consequence of withdrawing consent. Optional advertising consent is separate from membership and reward eligibility. Service providers may process information outside your province or Canada as explained in section 7. SA (POPIA): process on lawful bases such as contract, legitimate interest, consent, or legal obligation, with minimality and purpose specification.
Consent: used for certain cookies and optional marketing; withdrawable as described below.
5. Cookies; analytics; advertising
We use sign-in and security cookies and Cloudflare website performance measurement. Optional Meta, Google Ads and Brave advertising accounts are not yet set up for this launch, and Shot Bonus advertising adapters are disabled. Tools: Cloudflare provides hosting, security, staff access, and Web Analytics. Shot Bonus uses the sb_member cookie for member sign-in, with a 30-day expiry, and Cloudflare Access uses CF_Authorization for staff sessions. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures website usage and performance.
The Privacy choices control stores your advertising preference locally in this browser. Advertising is off while the integrations are disabled; allowing advertising is unavailable. The control is designed to give Global Privacy Control priority over an earlier permission. Before optional advertising is enabled, we will update this Notice to describe the actual recipients, purposes and choices. Brave browser advertising settings are controlled in Brave, separately from this site. Essential cookies may be required for login and security; browser settings also control cookies.
6. Sharing

Shot Bonus’s Meta and Google advertising adapters remain disabled, and Brave campaign measurement has not been configured. Planning retargeting does not mean those integrations are currently receiving site data. If enabled, advertising disclosures may constitute sale, sharing or targeted advertising under applicable law and require corresponding choices. We will describe the actual practice before enabling it. Cloudflare performance measurement is separate from these planned advertising integrations.
7. International transfers
Our operational infrastructure includes hosts in the United States and South Africa, and providers may use other locations. The latest account check reports Cloudflare D1 database and R2 bucket placement as WEUR; D1 reports no selected jurisdiction. These storage-placement facts do not establish EU-only processing or restrictions on support access. Cloudflare delivery, security, analytics, backups and subprocessors may have different processing locations. Stripe, Odoo and Notion also use provider infrastructure and support arrangements; we have not established a complete account-specific list of their processing locations. Applicable law may require contractual or other transfer safeguards. Contact alerts@thetacticalnation.com for information about the arrangements applicable to your information; this Notice does not certify unverified localization or transfer contracts.
8. Retention
Account and billing records retained for the relationship plus legal periods. Claim media retained as needed for verification, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and (where licensed) marketing until you successfully request marketing takedown or account deletion, subject to legal holds. Backups expire on a rolling schedule.
9. Security
Reasonable security measures appropriate to a consumer membership platform. Report suspected incidents to alerts@thetacticalnation.com.
10. Your rights
US residents: rights may include know/access, delete, correct, and opt out of certain processing where state law applies; appeal processes where required.
SA residents (POPIA): access, correction, deletion, objection, complaint to the Information Regulator.
Marketing: opt out via unsubscribe links or email.
Canada: where applicable, access, correction, consent withdrawal subject to lawful restrictions, and privacy complaints. All: email alerts@thetacticalnation.com with your request. Where applicable law provides an appeal or authorized-agent process, identify that in your message. Identity verification may be required where lawful; we do not require it for opt-outs where prohibited. We will handle requests within applicable legal time limits and explain any lawful exception or extension. Exercising privacy rights does not result in unlawful discrimination.
11. Children
Not directed to under-18s. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information. Contact us to delete if discovered.
12. Automated decisions
Automated checks support eligibility and claim processing, and advisory AI may assist review. Staff make claim review decisions; approval is not confirmation of payment or fulfillment. You may contact alerts@thetacticalnation.com to seek human review of an adverse eligibility or claim decision.
