Shot Bonus — Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Shot Bonus website and apps for browsing, account login, and community features, operated by The Tactical Nation, Inc (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Membership, Rewards, billing (including Stripe), competition posts, and claim posts are primarily governed by the Terms and Conditions. Privacy: Privacy Notice. If there is a conflict about Membership or Rewards, the Terms and Conditions control.
1. Definitions
Platform means shotbonus.com and related Shot Bonus apps and services. Content means text, images, video, software, and materials on the Platform. Competition post and claim post have the meanings in the Terms and Conditions.
2. Acceptance
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least eighteen (18) years old (or older if required where you live) to create an account. The Platform is not directed to children. Parents and guardians must not allow children to submit personal information.
4. Accounts
Provide accurate registration information. Safeguard passwords and notify alerts@thetacticalnation.com of suspected compromise. We may suspend accounts for security, fraud indicators, or abuse. You are responsible for activity under your account.
5. Licence; Platform use
We grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for lawful personal purposes related to Shot Bonus.
You may not: scrape at scale; reverse engineer except as mandatory law allows; bypass paywalls, geo limits, or security; introduce malware; interfere with other Members; or misuse APIs.
6. Membership pointer
Paid Membership, renewals, cancellation, and Rewards are governed by the Terms and Conditions. These Terms of Use do not themselves sell Membership.
7. Community; competition posts; claim posts
If you submit content — including competition posts or claim posts — you must follow the content, accuracy, and licence rules in the Terms and Conditions. Do not post unlawful, harassing, infringing, or fraudulent material. We may remove content and restrict features. Advertising disclosure laws may require you to disclose material connections when posting about brands or Rewards.
8. Intellectual property
Shot Bonus names, logos, UI, and Content are owned by the Company or licensors. Partner brand marks belong to those partners. No commercial use of our marks without written permission. Your submissions remain subject to the licence you grant under the Terms and Conditions.
9. Prohibited uses
Fraudulent claims; fake engagement; spam; impersonation; harvesting Member data; illegal activity; circumventing Membership controls; manipulating Rewards verification; abusive chargeback patterns related to Platform use.
10. Third-party services
The Platform may use Stripe, authentication, hosting, analytics, and social integrations — Cloudflare (hosting, storage, staff access, and Web Analytics), Stripe (checkout and payment processing), Odoo (membership, claims, support, and advisory AI review), and Notion (newsroom coordination). Third-party terms and privacy notices apply to those services. We are not responsible for third-party outages beyond reasonable control.
11. Privacy
Personal information is processed under the Privacy Notice, addressing US consumer marketing/rewards use and possible South African (POPIA) audience.
12. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY US AND, WHERE APPLICABLE, SOUTH AFRICAN LAW, WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service. Mandatory consumer rights are preserved.
13. Limitation of liability
Subject to non-excludable law, our liability arising from mere Platform browsing under these Terms of Use is limited to USD 100. Membership and Rewards liability caps are stated in the Terms and Conditions. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or data.
14. Indemnification
You will indemnify the Company and its personnel against third-party claims arising from your misuse of the Platform or content you post, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate Platform access for breach, risk, or operational reasons. You may stop using the Platform at any time. Surviving terms include IP, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, and governing law. Membership termination is also addressed in the Terms and Conditions.
16. Governing law; disputes
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, excluding conflict rules, without limiting mandatory local consumer rights (including for South African users where applicable). If you are a Member, disputes follow the dispute-resolution section in the Terms and Conditions. Otherwise: good-faith negotiation, then courts of competent jurisdiction.
17. Changes
We may update these Terms of Use by posting a revised version. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Material changes may be noted on the Platform where practical.

19. Severability; entire agreement; misc.
If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains. These Terms of Use are the entire agreement for Platform browsing (Membership/Rewards remain under the Terms and Conditions). Electronic notices permitted. Waiver in writing. Assignment by us to affiliate/successor permitted.
20. Sister brands
Operated by The Tactical Nation, Inc. Custom Nation, Tervory AI, and LOKD Security are separate offerings operated by The Tactical Nation, Inc and are not merged into Shot Bonus.
